About
Travis came to pickleball the way few of its professionals did — through a full tennis career. He was at UCLA at sixteen, turned pro at twenty, and spent a decade as a doubles specialist before hanging it up in 2012.
A friend put a paddle in his hand. The hands, the flick off the backhand side and the read of where the ball is going came with him, and by 2022 he was competing on the PPA Tour and part-owner of a Major League Pickleball team he also plays for.
